From Romantic to Ridiculous

Flowers always bring a smile to that special someone’s face. Flowers give a feeling of freshness and put a lovely aroma in the air. Red roses tend to be the most popular flower at Valentine's. White, red and pink flowers make up a beautiful Valentine bouquet.

Candy Bouquet - Instead of a bouquet of flowers send a bouquet of candy (chocolate) to say 'I Love You'.

Valentine Cards - Choose a Valentine card that is appropriate for your Valentine. Add some red and/or gold glittery sequence (heart shaped if you can find some or make your own) inside the card before you seal the envelope. This give it a nice touch when the card is opened.

Romantic Meal - Book a table for two at a romantic restaurant (candles and flowers on the table) and order a bottle of champagne.

Jewelry is always a special treat to receive on Valentine's Day. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. An Irish Claddagh Ring (symbol of Love, Friendship and Loyalty) says a lot. A floating heart necklace is perfect for this time of the year.

Name a Star - Give the gift of the heavens by naming a real star. www.yourstar.com

Rose Petal scattered on a table, bedroom floor and/or bathroom floor help to make the occasion even more romantic.

Balloons are always a special treat to receive. Make up your own basket of flowers, treats (soaps, oils and other toiletries) and/or sweets and tie some beautiful Valentine balloons and red ribbons to the handle of the basket.

Massage Vouchers will really make that special someone’s day. You could even book a date where you both go and have your massage together.

Gym Vouchers - Give the gift of health and fitness. This is a way to try out a new gym and may become a life time commitment.

Chocolates play a big part in Valentine's. There are so many shape, sizes, colors and varieties to choose from.

Massage Oils – Choose a sensual aroma to enhance the mood and take it in turn to massage each other.

Music – Find some appropriate music for the occasion.

Cushions – Cushions can add a special touch to different rooms. Shop around, you will be amazed at the different shapes, colors and patterns available at this time of the year.

Essential (aromatherapy) Oils – There are some very smoothing essential oils to choose from. These oils can be used in burners to give off a gorgeous aroma, in a bubble bath to be absorbed by your body and massaged directly into your skin to create softness.

Champagne always goes down well at Valentine's. It is such a nice treat for any occasion. Make sure it is chilled and/or left in a bucket of ice. Make it look attractive by arranging a bouque of flowers. Try serving with strawberries dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with white powdered sugar.

Perfume is a desirable present to receive. Be sure that you choose the right scent for your loved one.

Chocolate Fondue – Chocolate fondues for two can be a lot of fun. Fruits (especially chilled strawberries) and marshmallows are great for dipping into the chocolate. Cut all sorts of fruits into big chunks and dip in. Chocolate Fountains are also a lot of fun. Don't forget that Champagne goes well with strawberries and chocolate.

Romantic get-away – Book a special romantic get-away for the two of you. Surprise the one you love and have a wonderful break. There are loads of great romantic sights to see.

Sexy Lingerie – This can be a lot of fun for someone special. Buy your sweetheart some sexy lingerie. Make sure you get the correct size, color and something sexy.

Bedding – Novelty cushion (red hearts and red lips) and perhaps some red satin sheets can add a special touch to the evening.

Paper and Ribbons - Be sure to gift wrap your Valentine presents to make them look sensational and tempting. Find some nice Valentines wrapping paper and red or white ribbon for making a nice bow.
